St. Paul Haus Hunters

Lets play a game…

stpaul haus hunters

Everyone knows HGTVs House Hunters right? The show where a camera crew follows a prospective buyer as they search for a house. They see three houses and the buyer has to choose between those three houses, all while leaving the viewer to debate and guess which house they will pick.  I am not the biggest fan of this show as it is obviously totally fake, but it is still kinda fun to see a bunch of other peoples houses.  I will tell you one thing, I will not eliminate a house based on the interior paint colors. (my biggest pet peeve of that show–you would think that people with a budget of 700k would be able to pay someone to paint for them…god forbid they have pick up a paint roller themselves. I do not understand this.)

Here is the St. Paul Haus version and it is totally legit.

I will give you the basics of the house along with our favorite aspects and or biggest concerns.  Once I get all the house posted I will give you a quick run down on each house and you all can pick your favorite and take bets on which one we will choose.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • 2 story single family home
  • 3 or more bedrooms
  • Main level bedroom
  • 2 bathrooms
  • Large yard
  • 2 car garage
  • Charm and character with natural wood work, molding, hardwood floors, fireplace, etc
  • Of course it has to be in St. Paul: preferably close to restaurants, shopping and Adrian’s work.
  • And last but not least: It has be within our budget.  With the 2 of us paying for master’s degrees it’s a small budget I assure you.

Stay tuned for Haus #1 coming later this week.  🙂
